WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Representative Austin Scott (GA-08) today was appointed to the House Rules Committee by House Speaker Mike Johnson.

“It is our sworn duty as members of Congress to govern, and I look forward to serving on the Rules Committee to help advance legislation that benefits the American people,” Scott said.

Scott also serves as Vice Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee and is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
