WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08) today announced that all 2013 Military Academy Nomination packets from Georgia’s Eighth Congressional District are due Friday, October 25, 2013 to his Tifton office at 127-B N. Central Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794.

To be considered for admission to four of the five armed service academies, all potential students must be nominated by a U.S. Representative, U.S. Senator or the Vice President. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
