Project Name: Comprehensive Training Complex (Mock Village)

Description: Provides a $3,827,990 investment for a Comprehensive Training Complex, designed to train law enforcement in high-intensity drills and stage multi-agency exercises.
Project Name: Climate-Controlled Ammunition Bunker
Project Location: 1000 Indian Springs Drive, Forsyth, GA 31029
Project Sponsor: Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC)
Requested Amount: $1,012,000
Description: Provides a $1,012,000 investment to construct a new, state-of-the-art, climate-controlled ammunition bunker. This investment to stabilize GPSTC’s storage infrastructure will ensure Georgia’s first responders have the reliable tools and training they need to keep communities safe.
Project Name: Use of Force Instruction and Operational Capabilities

Requested Amount: $542,640
Description: Provides a $542,640 investment for GPSTC to protect critical training assets across multiple state campuses and provide essential mutual aid and backup to local and state departments in emergencies. Maintains interoperability and officer safety, funding for G45 Gen5 and optics to upgrade to current standards, as well as specialized traffic and safety equipment upgrades including officer flashlights and safety wands.
Project Name: Aerial Fire Apparatus Acquisition
Project Location: 56 Broad Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036
Project Sponsor: City of Hawkinsville
Requested Amount: $1,775,000
Description: A one-time acquisition that provides a missing capability necessary to protect federally recognized low- and moderate-income residents for decades. A rear-mounted ladder truck has an expected service life of approximately 30-35, representing a long lasting and critical investment into the Hawkinsville community.
Project Name: 23d Security Forces Squadron Military Working Dog Flight Operations Facility
Project Location: Moody Air Force Base, GA
Project Sponsor: Moody Support
Requested Amount: $14.5M
Description: Provide $14.5M to construct an adequately sized, properly configured military working dog kennel facility at Moody AFB to support the on-going missions of the 820th Base Defense Group and the 23d Security Forces Squadron that will include all required functional space for military working dogs and personnel, and meet all health and safety standards.

Description: The Firearms Training Unit at GPSTC conducts critical courses in Sniper Operations and Designated Marksmanship. This request modernizes the firearms and safety equipment essential to training public safety professionals at GPSTC.

Description: This project seeks funding for the procurement of 40 Police Pursuit Vehicles (PPV), so that GPSTC can provide tactical consistency, improve safety and reliability, and improve operation excellence.
Project Name: Sniper Range for Patrol Rifle Training and Sniper Training
Project Location: 1000 Indian Springs Drive, Forsyth, GA 31029
Project Sponsor: Georgia Public Safety Training Center
Requested Amount: $670,068
Description: This project would allow for much needed renovations to be done at GPSTC’s Sniper Range, including replacement of existing exterior stairs, installation of a gantry system for easy movement of equipment to elevated platforms, and weather-shielding from extreme conditions to ensure year-round training.
Project Name: Berrien County Emergency Communications Tower Project
Project Location: 201 N. Davis Street Nashville, GA 31639
Requested Amount: $1,936,576
Description: This project would allow Berrien County to construct a 300-foot guyed radio communications tower to improve emergency communications coverage and provide system redundancy for law enforcement, fire, EMS, and 911 operations across the county.
Project Name: Ensuring Continuity of Georgia Peanut Research: Essential Processing and Storage Equipment Replacement at UGA Tifton
Project Location: 1 Animal Science Dr, Tifton, GA 31793
Project Sponsor: The University of Georgia
Requested Amount: $958,700
Description: To enhance the University of Georgia’s (UGA) peanut-related research, this proposal is for infrastructure and equipment upgrades at UGA’s Tifton Campus.
