WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, December 12, Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08), a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, will continue the House Intelligence Committee Republicans’ Beyond the SCIF Series with his panel “A Conversation on Great-Power Competition in Africa” with the American Enterprise Institute. Congressman Scott will be joined by Congressman Jimmy Panetta (CA-19), a member of the House Armed Services Committee.

Beyond the SCIF is an effort by HPSCI Republicans to connect with experts and leaders in the national security field to create an open dialogue on threats facing our nation and what committee members can do to counter the malign actions of our adversaries.
