WASHINGTON, D.C.-- U.S. Representative Austin Scott (GA-08) today voted in favor of H.R. 5860, legislation to make continuing appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024, which passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 335-91.

"The bipartisan continuing resolution passed by the House today isn’t perfect, but it prevents a government shutdown for 45 days," Scott said. "Congress will return to Washington on Monday to continue our work to pass responsible appropriations bills.”
