WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08) released the following statement on the release of three U.S. prisoners by North Korea:

“Today, three Americans are finally returning home to their families after being wrongfully imprisoned in North Korea. Their release is a positive step forward in the ongoing discussions with Kim Jong-un and the North Korean government. While there is certainly still much more progress to be made in the months ahead, I commend the Administration for their work in securing the release of Kim Dong-chul, Tony Kim and Kim Hak-song, and I welcome them back home.”
