Warner Robins, GA – U.S. Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08) today announced an upcoming visit to Middle Georgia State College (MGSC) – Eastman Campus on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, to tour the recently-merged campus and its aviation departments.

The tour will be led by Dr. John Black, President of Middle Georgia State College, and other representatives from Middle Georgia State College’s Eastman Campus and School of Aviation. Topics will include the various degrees and certificate programs offered at MGSC’s Eastman Campus, as well as the collaborative efforts between MGSC and Georgia’s businesses in the aviation or aerospace industries to help students find employment in the workforce post-graduation.

The tour is open to media, and press should arrive at the Main Lobby of the MGSC Eastman Campus prior to 10:15 a.m. for Tuesday’s tour. For more information, call Rep. Scott’s Tifton office at (229) 396-5175.
