Tifton, GA – U.S. Congressman Austin Scott (GA-08) today announced his office will participate in the first annual C.A.R.E. for the Homeless Resource Fair being held in Tifton on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.

Representatives from Scott’s district office will be present to provide constituents assistance with federal issues ranging from Medicare and Social Security to Veterans' benefits.

The event is being hosted by South Central Georgia Coalition to End Homelessness, and in coordination with the Department of Veterans Affairs, United Way of South Central Georgia and Tift Regional Health System.
