WASHINGTON, D.C.-- U.S. Representatives Austin Scott (GA-08), Jeff Duncan (SC-03), and Debbie Dingell (MI-06) today introduced legislation commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

“As an avid turkey hunter, I appreciate the National Wild Turkey Federation’s efforts to promote the national turkey population and support my favorite sport,” Scott said.

This legislation also recognizes the National Wild Turkey Federation’s significant contributions to scientific wildlife management, research, and habitat conservation,  as well as promoting and protecting the long-honored outdoor traditions of the United States.
